UNRWA: Tulkarm seemed like a conflict zone because of the destruction left by the Israeli army

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said that the city of Tulkarm in the northern occupied West Bank “appeared to be a small conflict zone” due to the destruction left there by the Israeli occupation army.

This came in a statement made by the Agency’s Commissioner-General, Philippe Lazzarini, to the British newspaper “Financial Times” today, Thursday, and UNRWA published its content on its account on the “X” platform.

Lazzarini reiterated that the West Bank is facing a “silent war” as a result of the ongoing Israeli incursions and measures.

Describing the destruction in Tulkarm, he said that the city “seemed like a small conflict zone” due to the damage and devastation to homes, asphalt, roads and pipes following the Israeli military operation.
