The widespread news report this week that the Norwegian Parliament took action against PA education did not report the full context in its release to the media

The Norwegian annual budget to the PA stood last year at 615 million Krone-

This year there will be a reduction of 30 million Krone, not a significant cut.

Norway allocates most of its funds to the PA

through the World Bank, under an arrangement which allows the PA to use these funds as it sees fit.

The Norwegian Parliament would not approve measures to stop funds from their general allocations to the PA to fund their schools, their school books, or their teachers.

Funds will flow as normal from Norway to the PA and UNRWA education indoctrination system in 2021.
